Power and Pop Culture: My New Publication, ‘Chompsky’!
Media and politics news, a jobs and opportunities newsletter and, probably, too many memes.

Hello followers, old and new!
This week, I’ve launched a new Medium publication called Chompsky: Power and Pop Culture. It’s about the intersection of media and politics (hence why it’s named after the one and only Noam Chomsky) and also because I like silly frankenwords.
I’ll be writing quick, regular news updates, and occasionally a feature or long read about something important in the media or political economy spheres. Expect everything from Big Tech critiques, to film/TV reviews, to media reform campaigning.
In addition, each Friday I’ll be sending out a collection of the following in an email newsletter:
- Media and politics news (from me and others)
- News on related tech, social and economic issues
- Links to weird and wonderful videos, images, memes et al
- Media job postings, competitions, opportunities etc.
My hope is that you will sign up to receive this curated frenzy of socio-economic, politico-media content…if you’d like to be added to the list:
Please feel free to share this post, and I’d REALLY appreciate it, if you’re a Twitter user, if you would shout about us @chompskyblog.
PS: fellow culture/politics writers, I’m looking for guest posts! POC and marginalised writers particularly encouraged to pitch. There’s no budget as yet, but if you’re signed up to the Medium Partner Program like me, you can earn a little money if the piece does well. DM me or @chompskyblog on Twitter.
Lots of love,
Eliz x
